"Several studies have shown that the nemertean Cerebratulus lacteus is an important predator in soft-shell clam (Mya Arenaria). The presence of this predator in culture sites is raising some concerns from clam farmers. A laboratory study was undertaken in 1999 in Price Edward Island to better describe the predatory behaviour of C. lacteus."--Abstract.
